Black Hill Anthropomorphic Arts

We exist for one reason: to help animals in need. Everything we do — from the convention floor to the charity auction stage — is built around raising funds for animal welfare.

Our Mission

Black Hill Anthropomorphic Arts (BHAA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that harnesses the creativity and generosity of the furry community to make a real difference for animals. We bring together artists, performers, costumers, and fans — and we turn that shared passion into direct support for animal welfare organizations.

Supporting Animal Welfare

Fundraising isn't a side project for us — it's the whole point. Through registration proceeds, charity auctions, and on-site fundraising events, we create opportunities for attendees to give back while having a great time. Our charity partners attend our events and engage directly with the community, building real connections between the people who care and the animals who benefit.

As a brand-new organization, we're focused on building a strong foundation — one where every event we run creates more opportunities to give back as we grow.

About Anthroverse

Anthroverse is our flagship convention — a multi-day furry gathering in Dayton, Ohio currently gearing up for its inaugural event. The convention is organized and staffed entirely by volunteers who donate their time, which means more of what we raise can go toward the causes we care about.

Attendees can look forward to panels, live performances, a Dealers Den & Artist Alley, tabletop and video gaming, dance parties, and more — all wrapped in a space theme for our debut year. Charity events are woven into the schedule, from auctions to activities where our charity partners engage directly with attendees. The goal is simple: have an amazing time together and make a difference while you're at it.

Anthroverse is designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and fun for fans of all ages. Whether you're a longtime member of the community or just curious about what a furry convention is all about, there's a place for you here.
